During a long residency in New Zealand’s capital city of Wellington, The Troubles developed and honed their brand of meticulously composed music. From the coarse to the sublime, the emotive to the absurd, their music is inventive, passionate, honest and wholly life affirming. Incorporating a string quartet, horns and rhythm section, The Troubles and their distinct sound are giving pleasure to audiences around the world with highlights including critically acclaimed, sold-out performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festivals plus national tours around Australasia.
